Dr. Philippa Cheetham on Women Worldwide

Dr. Philippa Cheetham, a board-certified surgeon joins Host Deirdre Breakenridge on Women Worldwide. After successfully completing extensive surgical training and research in the UK, she came to Columbia University Medical Center in 2008, completing a two-year minimally invasive oncology fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Prostate Cryosurgery in July 2010.

On the show, Dr. Cheetham discusses the importance of educating people about disease prevention. A huge part of medicine is healing yourself, which starts with being more educated and informed about your disease. Dr. Cheetham also shares information on CureConnections, her TV show with medical experts, patient guests and caregivers, as well as her theory on the 7 E’s, helping patients to find their inner courage and strength.
